Monmouth Begins Management Transition
After two-plus decades of service to the rubber and plastics industry, Monmouth Rubber and Plastics Sales Manager John Bonforte Jr. is taking over the company’s day-to-day operations.
John Jr. began his Monmouth career as a high school student, working the second shift after school and during summer breaks. Since 2004, John Jr. has served as our sales manager, responsible for sales, quality and customer service.
“I’m excited to expand my duties to manage all aspects of our business,” he said. John Jr.’s role will now include day-to-day decision making, strategic planning and overseeing the manufacturing operation.
Bonforte’s father, John Sr., who founded the company, will remain active full-time as Monmouth’s technical and market development director.
John Jr. graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1994 with a bachelor of science in marketing. He also was an outside sales representative for GE Plastics from 1998 to 2003, selling engineered thermoplastic resins.
